No textbook can cover every topic in a field as large as condensed matter physics. I plan to make supplementary materials available in order to fill in gaps. Jainendra Jain has contributed the first example, an article on composite fermions and the fractional quantum hall effect.
As time goes by, I hope to obtain additional supplements. I envision them as articles of around 10 pages in length, employing notation consistent with the textbook, introducing topics the text omitted.
