Research Interests:

• Atom Optics with Ground State Noble Gases

Research:

I am working on the coherent slowing of supersonic beams of ground state noble gases. This is done through elastic scattering from a moving single crystal silicon mirror. We intend to use the slowed beam to conduct studies on diffraction and atomic interferometry.
